Guwahati is the largest city of Assam and Northeastern India, a major riverine port city and one of the fastest growing cities in India, situated on the South Bank of the Brahmaputra River. Guwahati is the gateway to northeast India. It is the base to reach Shillong, Cherrapunji and all other major tourist destinations in this part of India. The Kamakhya temple and Hajo are the most famous places to visit here and have religious significance. The beautiful hamlet of Majuli is located pretty close to Guwahati and is one of the best offbeat places to visit in India.

Day 1: Guwahati To Shillong

We will start the tour at 6:30am (or at the chosen time) from Guwahati city. We will drive straight to Laitlum with a 10 minutes photo stop at Umiam lake. We will cover this leg at around 4 hours and will reach Laitlum at around 11 am. In Laitlum we will spend almost 2 hrs and then drive to Shillong city and have lunch at your own cost. Post lunch we will visit Wards Lake and nearby areas and then drop you at Police Bazaar for shopping. At around 4 pm we will start from Police Bazaar and head home en-route visiting Umiam Lake. If time permits then guests can enjoy a boat ride in the lake on a direct payment basis.

Day 1: Shillong To Guwahati

At 5 pm we will leave Umiam lake and drive to Guwahati city at your desired location. Tour ends.

Notes and Disclaimers:

1. Driver's night allowance applicable if the driver drives between 10 pm & 6 am (Rs 250 for sedan & SUV and Rs 300 for tempo traveler)
2. If Cab runs more than total KMs estimated for the package, then per KMs charges will be applicable
3. A/C will be switched off in hilly areas.
4. The trip is for a specified period of time (same day). It may not be possible to visit all the places in the given time.  Its advised that the client specify the places to visit ahead of the tour so that the client's needs are incorporated into the day and any confusion or disagreements are avoided. 
If for any reason, the sightseeing places that are planned to be visited are either not open or busy or if the plan is constrained by time, the client and driver need to adjust the itinerary to fit it into the available time. No refund shall be offered if the client is unable to visit all the places mentioned in the itinerary due to unavailability of time or natural or unnatural circumstances affecting the trip. 
5. If a client requires a vehicle with roof-top carrier additional charges of ₹150/- shall apply.
